Apply to take part in 'Climate Conversations'
We are looking for a piece of work that explores social activism and climate justice.
Inspired by the history of social activism in Lewisham, the London Borough of Culture is hosting a programme of talks, discussions, debates and workshops throughout 2022 which will address local climate issues as well as the global climate crisis.
As part of this programme, on Lewisham’s Peoples Day 2022, there will be a ‘Climate Conversations’ takeover, allowing the community of Lewisham a dedicated platform to present work around the themes of social justice and climate activism, motivating others to take action.
We are offering up to £800 to local organisations to take to the stage on Lewisham People’s Day 2022 and present a piece of work that explores what social activism and climate justice means to them and their community.
