(BASH) Be Active, Stay Healthy enrichment programme is a platform for youth engagement through Taekwon-Do (TKD). One of a kind programme, teaching self-defence, building self-confidence, self-esteem, daily life skills, and focuses on improving emotional and psychological wellbeing.
Sessions are run every Sunday 10am-12pm (term time only) funded by Active Community Network.
1. To help to reduce child obesity
2. To help young people to stay focused to improve their confidence, physical fitness, and their emotional and psychological health.
3. To reduce the risk of dropping out of education (Early preventative work)
The BASH sessions are a positive space for self-expression and developing interactive social skills. It focuses on transforming negative energy into positive outcomes, building relationships with others, and bringing together diverse communities to strive for excellence and social cohesion. The instructor also holds informative group discussion to empower decision of their future career academic choice in life.
