FREE adventure play and creative activities as part of the Climate Home Summer Festival.

Come and join our adventure play sessions for 8 to 14 year olds or learn new skills in fashion, sound system building, spoken word and creative writing, dance and construction for people aged 13 – 21 years. This summer we’ve got something for everyone, sign up now.



Adventure Play

Take part in open play on the outdoor adventure playground and join in with guided creative activities. Choose from a range of different activities each day, including games, dance workshops, art, sports day games, building, planting & butterfly handling, nerf gun battles, sustainable fashion design and more.

For ages 8 – 14 years
12pm – 4pm on the following dates:
Weds & Thurs for 4 weeks from 27 July to 18 Aug

Reach for Speech Poetry Collective

For aspiring creative writers, spoken word artists and poets to work with professional poet Gboyega Odubanjo to explore new forms and styles of poetic writing.

For ages 13 – 21 years
5pm-7pm on the following dates:
Thursdays for 6 weeks from 30 June until 4 August
Performance: Sat 6 August 4pm – 8pm

Fashion Futures Design and Making Sessions

Work alongside Climate Home’s resident fashion designer to learn design and making skills and create new designs for the catwalk, leading up to the festival fashion show on 13 August.

For ages 10-16 years
4.30pm-7pm on the following dates:
Wednesdays for 5 weeks from 13 July – 10 Aug
Performance: Sat 13th August 4pm – 8pm

Dance with the UNKNOWN

Join celebrated Lewisham street dance trio The Unknown to learn new moves and styles including street dance, commercial and freestyle. Open to beginners and experienced dancers.

For ages 10-16 years

Thursdays for 6 weeks from 14 July – 18 August

The Team

Join the climate home building team and gain construction experience and skills
We are looking for young people to develop their skills and experience in construction and building. You will work with the professional build team Build Up and Practice Architecture to build a new stage for performances that will take place in the youth-led Climate Home Festival. No experience necessary, a keen interest in building is a must.

For ages 14-25
5pm – 8pm on the following dates:
Weds 29 June, Weds 6 July, Weds 13 July
