The seating area of Climate Home is wheelchair accessible.

There is a small youth club on site that has toilets including a wheelchair accessible one.

Weather

All performances will take place outdoors and we ask audiences to check the weather before coming to events and dress appropriately. Performances will go ahead in rain or shine. If there is a severe weather warning and the event is deemed unsafe it will be cancelled.

Young people take centre stage at Lewisham's new pop-up venue, Climate Home.

Climate Home: Festival of Action and Resistance is a 6-week festival of creative workshops, performances, adventure play, get togethers, art, music, talks, rest and more, exploring creativity and climate justice.

Featuring Lewisham Youth Theatre, The Unknown, REZON8, Alchemy, Playing On, Standards, Heart n Soul, Love 2 Dance, Staying Out Collective and more, on a stage built by young people in collaboration with Practice Architecture and Build Up. 

For young people aged 8 to 25 and the wider community. 

 

More About Climate Home

Climate Home is a new accessible outdoor performance space built by young people.

The stage has been created within an Adventure Playground and is surrounded by swings, run arounds and grass. The seating has been created using hay bails.

All performances will take place outdoors and we ask audiences to check the weather before coming to events and dress appropriately. Performances will go ahead in rain or shine. If there is a severe weather warning and the event is deemed unsafe it will be cancelled.

Climate Home is a safe and inclusive space, run by local young people. It is within a residential area.

All activities and events are free or pay what you decide.
