Brockley Max is a vibrant, volunteer-led community arts festival that transforms South East London into a creative hub every summer. Spanning nine days across Brockley, Ladywell, Crofton Park, and Honor Oak, it celebrates local talent through music, art, comedy, and workshops.
Founded in 2001, the festival has grown from a handful of events to over 100 annual performances in 30+ venues. The celebration kicks off with a lively Opening Night featuring outdoor live music near the Brockley Barge and concludes with Max In The Park, a massive family-friendly festival on Hilly Fields.
