About

A free film screening at Goldsmiths and a research study you can take part in - and share a social outing.

Join us at the Goldsmiths on-campus cinema in New Cross to watch a recent and award-winning film with others. You’ll share your experience in two short surveys (about 15 minutes). The study explores how being absorbed in a film and its story relates to our sense of connection with other people.

Open to anyone aged 18 or over (excluding Goldsmiths academic staff). It's free, there's a thank-you prize draw, and you're welcome to bring a friend or family member and make an evening of it – each person books their own place.

Sessions run mostly on weekend afternoons, with some weeknight evenings, through to late July. To review the participant information sheet, give your consent, and book a session, scan the QR code on the attached advertisement or visit the website listed with this posting.

Study is approved by the Goldsmiths Department of Psychology Ethics Committee.
