Celebrate Jamaica's Independence Day at this free community street celebration on Catford Broadway.
Hosted by Afro Classics Register, the UK's largest African and Caribbean classic car club, and Radiate Festival, the event brings together classic cars, music, food, community stalls and activities for all ages.
Highlights include a display of classic cars and the stories behind them, an author talk and reading by award-winning local writer Mel Pennant, a community domino tournament with Hummingbird Senior Social Club, line dancing with B32Danze, bubble play for children, music throughout the day, and information stalls from local community organisations.
Taking place in the heart of Catford, this welcoming event celebrates Jamaican culture, community connections and local pride while bringing together residents, families and visitors for a day of entertainment and activities.
