Join artist and educator Josie Satwell-Cousins for free art workshops about her ongoing project, Don’t Be a Stranger. In these workshops, Josie will introduce you to drawing as an act of presence and quiet resistance in an increasingly disconnected world. Using everyday materials such as biro pens and paper, you’re invited to rediscover creativity in ordinary spaces and moments.
The workshops will run
Monday 5th of January, 2:30-4:30pm at Crofton Park Library
Monday 12th January, 12:30-2:30pm at Manor House Library
Don’t Be a Stranger is a participatory art project that invites Londoners to contribute drawings, sounds, and stories gathered on their journeys through the city. Together, these contributions will form a living audiovisual map, acting as a collective portrait of London that celebrates connection, creativity, and community in a time often defined by isolation.
