Fellowship Music Collective returns in collaboration with NU Jam Sessions. NU Sessions began as a space to allow for ego free self-expression, whilst keeping community at the centre of its ethos.
Young intermediate-level musicians (who are confident with their instrument) aged 14-19, will be able to gain invaluable experience learning how to create free flowing music using themes, genres or feelings as a stimulus for their creations. The musicians will leave this project with an understanding of collaboration with their peers, the ability to closely listen to each other, and an openness to exploring new musical ideas.
Learn how to:
-To create an understanding of an ego free musical space that creates a safe environment for all
-To build confidence and a comfortability with chosen instruments through jamming
-To understand how to create improvised music using themes, feelings or genres as a catalyst
-To learn how to let go and free flow create
