About

Join us for a summer afternoon of live music, hands-on workshops, and family-friendly fun celebrating Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA) cultures –
haflah / حفلة, means celebration or a party in Arabic.

Curated by Hekayyatna, Haflah at the Horniman promises live music, delicious food, workshops, storytelling, and children’s activities, plus a souq featuring handmade crafts, jewellery, books and textiles, from across the region, including Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.

Whether you’re coming for the music, the makers, or just the good vibes in a beautiful South London garden, there’s something here for everyone.

Tickets: Adult £10, Child £8 - Book ahead.
