Join Rochelle Falconer, author-illustrator of How to Tame a Mummy Monster at Deptford Literature Festival. The event starts with a short introduction, followed by a fun and engaging reading of the story. Meet sisters Junie and Ruby as they navigate sibling rivalry, chaos, and the silly consequences of ignoring the warning signs that their Mummy is turning into a mummy monster.
After the reading, we’ll chat together about all the clues the girls missed—and what you might have spotted! Then it’s drawing time for a step-by-step draw-along session where Rochelle will guide everyone through creating your own Mummy Monster sketch.
The event will finish with book signings and Rochelle’s always up for a chat, so feel free to come over and say hi!
