We’re looking for up to 4 early-career artists aged 18-25 to become LYT Associate Artists for an 8-month period, from January 2027 to August 2027.
Whether you’re developing a new idea, rehearsing a piece of work, writing, or building your creative practice, this self-led opportunity gives you the freedom to focus on what you want to develop, in the way that feels right for you.
There’s no set programme and no expectation to create a finished piece. The Associate Artist offer is about giving early-career artists a creative home to develop their craft.
This opportunity is for early-career artists aged 18-25 who:
Work in theatre, including writing, directing, design, movement, producing or performance
Want to develop an idea, build their practice or shape work for an audience
Would benefit from space, resources and support
