The culmination of two terms of the Make a Scene young writers programme, supported by Arts Council England, Sydenham-based theatre company Spontaneous Productions will present two evenings of new writing by emerging playwrights at the Sydenham Centre.
Guided by professional mentors, 12 writers have crafted short playlets and scenes to be performed 'script in hand' by a professional cast of Spontaneous regulars.
We expect these original pieces - both comic and dramatic - to explore a wide range of powerful themes and issues, and will include adult content. Our previous new writing 'scratch nights' are always hugely popular, as writers often bring their friends and families along to support, so advance booking is recommended.
Please note we that 6 different scripts will be presented each evening, and a discounted 'combined' ticket for both nights is available.
