Meet Me at the Albany is a weekly arts and social club for people aged 65 and over, created by The Albany, Entelechy Arts and Lewisham Council. It takes place on Tuesdays at the Albany in Deptford.
Members take part in a variety of creative workshops led by local artists. The Meet Me Choir is a popular fixture, taking place most Tuesday mornings from 11am-12pm.
Meet Me at the Albany grew out of a simple question shared by the Albany, Entelechy Arts and Lewisham Council: ‘What if isolated and lonely older people had the opportunity to go to an arts centre instead of a day centre?’
