The songwriting day taster session is an intro into this summer term's Fellowship Music Collective.
Over the session, young musicians aged 14-19 will be able to work with poet and spoken word pro, Y.A Poet, working on their lyricism, tone, performance and their connection to words throughout this session. This will prepare them for the exciting songwriting and improvisational workshops we will have taking place throughout the summer term. The skills learned during this time will cultivate into a performance at Lewisham Music's own, Sofar Sounds inspired, Rooftop Sessions.
Who is it for:
-For those aged 14-19 who are experienced on their instruments and comfortable with chords and notes
-For all instrumentalists, vocalists, spoken word artists and rappers
-For those looking to develop their musicianship skills
