Hop into a magical adventure, as Sydenham-based theatre company Spontaneous Productions launches its Autumn Season 2026 in style, with a brand new, musical version of the beloved fairy tale The Frog Prince - er, sorry - Frog Princess. Think you know the story of The Frog Prince - the poor green royal stuck in a pond until someone should come by and kiss him? Well, in this brand new version meet Princess Bheki, the spoilt and pampered only daughter of the Maharajah. When she refuses to marry a prince, her father has her turned into a frog with disastrous - and comic - consequences. But soon befriended by charismatic Daddoo the Frog can she learn to accept her new way of life? For families with children of all ages - and adults too - featuring songs with fabulous south Asian musical flavours, and packed with jokes, action, shadow effects, audience participation and Bollywood-style dance, it’s not to be missed!
