Join us for an exciting author event and drop-in activities for the whole family. Get stuck into some fun book related crafts, show off your World Book Day costumes with our selfie frame, discover new ways to read with an exciting selection of graphic novels, picture books, dyslexia friendly books and audiobooks to borrow. And try out Libby, the library reading app. This event is completely free. The author event will be in the upstairs library from 4-5pm (times tbc).
You can also exchange your World Book Day token for your choice of free WBD books as Downham Library becomes a pop-up book exchange from 12 February to 14 March. If you don't have a token, simply ask one of our friendly library staff for one.
