Music and Theatre for All is a local, national and international arts charity, based in Lewisham.
MTFA runs the Lewisham Creative Chorus (LCC), a multi-generational creative group that sings, dances, makes, designs, writes, composes, makes and uses puppets, working with top local and national professionals, open to all, and free to attend. We meet every Saturday at the Fellowship Inn from 9.30-11.30.
We performed our first full show, Our Street, at the Broadway Theatre in 2024. See the 'making of' film here: https://youtu.be/vhkOXzC0isY. Next year we will perform our second, Dancing In The Mirror, celebrating 100 years of the Fellowship Inn.
Over the festive season 2025, we'll be performing at Catford Christmas Lights Switch-On, Bellingham Green Carols, Lewisham Marketmas, Fellowship Inn and Phoenix Arts Club, Soho.
Follow the Lewisham Creative Chorus in the final stages of their preparation for Our Street, the epic show they created with legendary jazz singer song writer Gwyneth Herbert and performed at the Broadway Theatre in July 2024. 'Honestly better than anything I’ve seen in the West End. So much heart and truth, and seeing people put their bodies and souls into it like that blew me away. I was in pieces.' (audience reaction)
