The Piehouse is a not-for-profit, worker-run, wheelchair accessible music and arts venue in a railway arch in Deptford. Our work focuses on platforming groups that typically find themselves left out of mainstream cultural programming, with a focus on queer, disabled, working class and POC artists. We host up to 6 events a week, from film screenings, poetry nights and workshops, to live gigs and DJ nights. Our maximum capacity is 150 standing, which gives many of our nights an intimate community feeling. We stand for a London in which the arts are accessible for all: we ask all of our event organisers to have tiered ticket pricing for their events, and carers/PAs can get a free ticket to any event on request. There is a wheelchair accessible serving station at the bar. We also sell delicious pies!
